Here you will find the most important information on writing the internship report (in German) as well as FAQs (in German) on the credits.
FAQ
Who is the module representative? Who is the internship supervisor?
The internships carried out by the Archaeological Institute itself are supervised by the respective project managers. The business office takes care of the booking on Klips. Talk to your respective module supervisor.
Can I get credit for my internship?
If you are unsure about the archaeological context of your placement, please contact the relevant module supervisor prior to the placement.
I need a certificate of mandatory internship for my internship position. Who issues this certificate?
Please fill out this form and submit it to the responsible internship supervisor for signature.
What documents do I need to submit to receive credit for my internship?
You will need the internship certificate and, if applicable, an internship report in order to receive credit. Present these (originals, no copies!) to the internship representative or send them by mail with a note stating which internship in which module it is and your name and matriculation number.
Beforehand, you must register for the respective internship via Klips.
How long does the internship report have to be?
In most cases, a short 1-2 page report is sufficient. Some modules in the Master's program include a longer report. Consult your module handbook in case of doubt.
Where do I have to submit my documents?
You can either hand in your complete documents in person to the respective internship officer or send mail to him or her. Due to the Corona pandemic, personal submission is currently not possible.
My internship has not yet been posted in Klips. What could be the reason for this?
There is a deadline at the end of each semester when all services are automatically booked. If you need to have your work booked promptly (e.g. when you finish your studies), please inform the internship officer when submitting your documents. In exceptional cases, the performance can then be entered into Klips a little faster by the examination office.
Where can I pick up the internship certificate after it is posted?
You will find the certificate in the business office of the Archaeological Institute after the processing is completed.
