Online-Self-Assessment (OSA)

With the help of the Online Self-Assessment (OSA), you can find out whether your personal interests, expectations and competencies match the requirements and contents of the Bachelor's degree program in Archaeology. It also contains references to further information and advice services that can support you on the way to your study decision. To enroll in the 2-subject BA Archaeology, you will need proof of participation in the OSA. After you have passed the OSA, you can request a corresponding certificate.

1. Register with ILIAS, the digital learning platform of the University of Cologne. After successful activation of your account, please continue directly with step 2.

Registration Notes:

  • Choose a username and password and enter a valid email address to which the account activation confirmation link will be sent.
  • Data protection: Your personal data will only be used to generate the certificate of participation. After expiration of the enrollment period, all data will be deleted. Anonymized statistics of aggregated results are created for quality assurance and to improve the OSA.

2. Clicking on this link will take you to the central OSA overview. Select the appropriate OSA there by clicking on the corresponding image. You will then receive all further information directly in the OSA.
